Purpose of the Site

This site is an independent reference guide, not an official record system. It holds no official jail, court, or booking records, and it cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or submit government paperwork.

We identify public paths from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, including the CLEMIS Inmate Locator used for current adult Oakland County Jail custody, the Oakland County FOIA Request Center, Oakland County Court Explorer, the Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS search, and third-party research tools. Official-record availability remains subject to the applicable office and, for county public records, the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq.

Permitted Use

• Use the site only in a lawful manner.
• Do not use information here to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone.
• Do not rely on site content to make employment, housing, lending, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its systems, or any linked service.

Fair Credit Reporting Act Limits

Oakland County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not produce background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and its advertising or search partners are not providing screening services through this site. You agree not to use any site information for an FCRA-regulated purpose, including:

• A decision to hire, fire, promote, or retain a worker.
• Tenant selection, housing screening, or a housing decision.
• Creditworthiness, credit terms, or insurance rates and coverage.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program.
• Any other use governed by the FCRA or a similar consumer-reporting rule.

Links may lead to jail locators, law-enforcement and corrections pages, court portals, legal-assistance resources, and outside search services. A link is provided for convenience and is not an endorsement. We do not control an outside site’s content, privacy practices, data, uptime, prices, or terms, so review that site’s rules before using it.

No Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current status of information.
• Uninterrupted or error-free access.
• That the site will be free of defects, vulnerabilities, or harmful components.

Custody entries and public records can change quickly, and a delayed roster result is not an official statement from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, a court, or another government agency.

The site’s original text, graphics, logo treatment, and code are owned by Oakland County Busted Mugshots or its content partners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
